HAMMOCK KNOTS

How to string your Mosquito Hammock up between two trees? - We suggest that you tie a Bowline loop in one end of the rope. You wrap the other end of the rope around the tree two times (if possible), and then thread it back through the Bowline loop, and use two slipping Half Hitches to secure the knot. This is a very strong knot, and more importantly, it is very easy to untie the next morning.

Tie a Bowline Loop in one end of the rope. It will not slip.

Wrap the rope the other end of the rope two times around the tree (if possible), then thread it back through the Bowline Loop. This system allows you to adjust the hammock tension very easily. You can pull the hammock taught for almost a flat sleeping contour, or you can leave it loose for a "banana" sleeping contour.

Then you make a slipping Half Hitch and another Half Hitch to secure the knot. Sit on the hammock gently to tighten the knots.
